![]() ![]() *Copy provided by the publisher in exchange for an honest review* Though this book had some bright moments, I felt mostly irritated and let down when I finished. When my favorite character isn't even the main focus of the book (love you Dex, my boo), I think it's time to move on to greener pastures. ![]() I think I need to tap out of the THIRDS world. Stop complicating the story, Charlie Cochet! This isn't Inception over here! I didn't get the fire and passion between them, and the relationship dynamics felt very M/F romance in a bad way. boring.Īnd was I the only one who thought that Ash treated Cael like a little kid, or a little girl? He always calls him "blushing" or "sweet" or "cute". There are a lot of miscommunications and lots of missed opportunities, but sexual tension is just out the window. Gimme something real, something that makes sense, because you guys have been pining after each other for YEARS!Īlso, there is barely any sexual tension in this story. ![]() I've heard some excuses in my day but this just took the cake. What really bothered me was Ash's lackluster and totally wimpy excuses as to why he wouldn't or couldn't be with Cael. I've seen some glowing reviews, so I guess some people loved this one, but for me I think I'm being generous with my rating. I've been waiting on this story for the past few mediocre THIRDS books, and I was honestly expecting greatness. I'm having a pity party over here, folks. Charlie Cochet, why did you do this to me?! Ash and Cael's story was supposed to be epic!! ![]()
